Driving the car off the lot, the check engine light went on and I called the sales person who said it was normal since the car has been sitting on the lot, so we thought it made sense and took the car home. The check engine lights continued to come on since then. The car had a recall whereas the car sat in their dealership for 40 days. It seems that every time the check engine light went on they justify it by saying low fluid, low air in the tires etc. The car has 1800 miles 500 of which was driving back and forth to the dealership and until today the engine light is on. Last conversation with David he said 'I don't care for you or your car since I wrote my review. Therefore Buyer be aware that the dealership is posting good reviews to get rid of the real truth about Bergen County Maserati and North American Maserati. James Nanry of North American met with my wife James Nanry who basically patted her on the shoulder and offered a free maintenance service just to get rid of us. Yes it's true we want this problem resolved and yes we want a replacement car and/or our money back for a car that we purchased that we worked hard to achieve but turned out to be a defective car. I shouldn't take the loss. You take it. And at this point, I don't think I even want a replacement Maserati because it seems that not only does the dealership not care about the customers, NORTH AMERICAN MASERATI DOESNT Either. please check out Yelp it seems that I am not the only customer having this problem with their cars.
